Stormy and Shelly Swann married and felt the call of God for ministry on their lives. After attending Bible School, they moved to Clovis, NM to volunteer at Stormy’s brother’s church. After faithfully serving for 20 years, Stormy and Shelly felt the call to plant a church in Lubbock, Texas. God miraculously opened doors, and the they started a Bible study in a small duplex in Lubbock on July 2, 2000.  After expanding from various meeting rooms and locations over the years, The Lord provided a permanent church home on 58th & Memphis. Stormy & Shelly’s vision is to honor God, empower people, and pursue the great commission - rooted in prayer and The Word of God. The ministries at Faith Church are consumed with that goal!

Throughout the years the Lord has used Faith Church to see countless people born again, baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, and set free from addiction and bondage. The very course of so many lives and families has been dramatically changed by the work of God at Faith Church, and we know that He is not done yet! Our goal is not only to see people saved, but that they will become full disciples of Christ. We desire to see the lost, hurting, abandoned, broken, and hopeless people in our city transformed by the power of the Name of Jesus! Our prayer is that God would pour out his spirit on the community of Lubbock, Texas!
